THE WAY OF THE WARRIOR

The Rise of the Giant Hunters

Along time ago when mankind was young, the giants oppressed the people of the world but the 99 tribes fought back to maintain their freedom. This was until the 9 Generals of the giants, called the MALI arose. They were said to be the offspring of the earth goddess herself for they wielded the power of the earth as their weapon. With their leadership the giants conquered all the other 98 tribes of the world. Each of the 9 ruled over 11 tribes. During their rule, the world was plunged into great darkness, evil and oppression won over good, equality and peace for this was an age of chaos. in these hard times, people wished for death but an excerpt of a book written by Sororo, a writer of that time, proved how difficult dying was:

"During these times, death is hardest to find if you seek it. Our right to die has been taken away so that we can suffer, this is truly the work of Milihoi, the Black One. The giants sell death at 2000 gold coins and no less. Clearly, at these times when we are all colonized, no one has that kind of money. If one is caught trying to kill themselves, it’s either slavery or torture.”

During these dark ages, oppression gave birth to people who wished to fight for freedom, these were the Giant Hunters. At what is currently the Ndarua Mountains, Mwooka, the leader of the giant hunters fought the MALI for 99 days and nights and emerged victorious. It is said that this battle led to the formation of these mountains. Mwooka, with the help of his comrades defeated the giants and delivered the world. Mwooka became The First Power, the King of the World. Before him there was none greater, after him there was none greater . . . till now!
